Are you a seasoned HVAC or plumbing professional ready to take the next step in your career? BEL-O Cooling, Heating, and Plumbing is looking for a Service Manager to lead our talented team of technicians and help drive operational excellence in our service department.
What You’ll Do:
As our Service Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our technicians are safe, well-equipped, and operating efficiently. You will:
- Oversee technician scheduling to maintain balance and avoid burnout
- Approve time cards and manage day-to-day staffing logistics
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent workflow year-round
- Manage customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Work with suppliers and vendors to source parts and equipment
- Ensure the warehouse is well-stocked and organized
- Jump in to assist on jobs or parts runs when necessary
- Drive revenue growth and service efficiency through strategic planning
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid technical background in HVAC and/or plumbing
- Prior leadership experience in a service environment strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to balance operational efficiency with technician wellbeing
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Willingness to be hands-on when needed
